Well, we're getting pretty close to having everything we need to accommodate the site properly. I armed my bro with a little cash earlier today (so he could buy some unusual games if he came across them) and he came back with something a little unexpected: A digital camera. It needed a few things, but we got it to work, not to mention it more or less works quite nicely. This is good for a number of reasons, but we can do a lot more now such as:
- Take more large scale images
- Take images of people, places, and things (in our travels)
- Record video (about one hour or so at the moment)
-Blackmail our enemies
We can't really doing anything truly productive with it yet, but it's pretty powerful as far as digital cameras go. We've made a sample instance of the camera in use; To show it can do things at moderately high resolutions (this image was reduced in size by approximately 70%, and the thumbnail we present is even smaller than that), by capturing a small pile of Japanese games, much more in one instance than we could with the old scanner.
It's another step forward everybody, and I don't see us progressing too much further anytime soon, unless we can get our hands on a few microphones and some major Adobe software. Here's the image:
Also, if you really want to know what games are presented in the image...
